EUROVISION 2011

2 days ago Europe celebrated a music contest. They participed all the Europe countries. It was fantastic. In my opinion, Spain sang well but there was a lot of tallent too. My favourite country was UK with the song "I Can" by the famous british group: "Blue":

A woman named Grace retires with her two children to a mansion on Jersey, towards the end of the Second World War, where she's waiting for her husband to come back from battle. The children have a disease which means they cannot be touched by direct sunlight without being hurt in some way. They will live alone there with oppressive, strange and almost religious rules, until she needs to hire a group of servants for them. Actually has its origins in the Catholic Church. It comes from a contracted corruption of All Hallows Eve. November 1, "All Hollows Day" is a Catholic day of observance in honor of saints.

c. How do children celebrate it.

Children would go from door to door in disguise as creatures from the undrworld to collect treats, mainly fruit, nuts, sweets,... If the people don't give fruit, nuts,... children throw eggs to their houses.
