HALLOWEEN

a. When and where it's celebrated.
Halloween is an annual holiday celebrated on October 31. It's still celebrated today in several countries around the globe. Specially, in Mexico, Latin America, Spain, Ireland and Canada. It's celebrated much as it is in the United States.

b. The origins of Halloween.
Actually has its origins in the Catholic Church. It comes from a contracted corruption of All Hallows Eve. November 1, "All Hollows Day" is a Catholic day of observance in honor of saints.

c. How do children celebrate it.
Children would go from door to door in disguise as creatures from the undrworld to collect treats, mainly fruit, nuts, sweets,... If the people don't give fruit, nuts,... children throw eggs to their houses.

d. Name typical games and costumes.

e. Do you celebrate it? Explain how.
I don't celebrate Halloween. As you know, I don't like horror things and it's that why I don't celebrate it. But I think it's very important to celebrate it because is an old tradition and they don't lose it!
